Residents of Ephraim can enjoy the conveniences of a city in the atmoshpere of a small, hometown.

Ephraim is located among the mountains, providing unparralled views. You can easily travel up the nearby mountain roads to experience nature and the wide-open spaces.

The Manti-La Sal National Forest borders the valley on eastern side. There's a road named Skyline Drive that follows along the top of the Manti-LaSal mountain range. It climbs to elevations of 10,897 feet and offers excellent scenery. The west side of the valley is framed by the Unita National Forest. Deer and elk herds can be seen moving to the valleys during winter time.

Ephraim has several theaters, including the Snow College Theater, and a Towne Theater. You can enjoy bowling at the Sno Cap Bowling Lanes, or have some fun at the Snow College Activity Center. It also has an Art Gallery featuring local artists and traveling exhibits.

Ephraim also enjoys a pleasant and healthful climate. Clear skies prevail throughout most of the year. The four seasons are very colorful and distinct here.

Summertime temperatures range in the mid 80's. Winters can be cold, but are rarely harsh. The average yearly precipitation is about 10.65 inches.
